Persona documentation
Persona gives a business an AI version of its founder or coach. It answers in their voice, from their own content, cites its sources, onboards new people and recommends the business's offers.
Who's who
| Term | Who it is | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Client | A business that runs a persona. You manage it in the dashboard. | A trading coach, an agency, a course creator |
| Subclient | One of the client's own customers: the person who chats with the persona. | A member of the coach's community |
Every subclient belongs to exactly one client. Nothing (knowledge, conversations, keys, settings) is ever shared between clients.
Three ways in
| Channel | For | How subclients are identified |
|---|---|---|
| Whop | Clients who sell on Whop. Install the app; members chat inside the community. | Their Whop account (verified by Whop) |
| Dashboard and hosted chat | Any business, on the web. Sign up at /signup; share a hosted chat link. | A session your server creates, or an anonymous visitor |
| Embed | Your own website or app, with widget.js or your own UI. | A session your server creates, or an anonymous visitor |
The persona, knowledge and conversations are the same in all three. A client can use any combination.
