Using Persona on Whop
- Install Persona from the Whop app store on your business. The dashboard opens inside your Whop dashboard.
- Set up your persona and start your plan.
- In your Whop dashboard, open Products, choose a product, then Apps, and add Persona. Only members of that product can open the chat.
How members are identified
Whop signs every request from its app frame with a short-lived token. We verify it against Whop's published keys, then ask Whop whether that user has access to the exact experience they opened. Members never sign in to Persona separately, and a member of one business can never reach another business's persona.
Each member becomes a subclient of your business, keyed by their Whop user id. Their conversations are listed in Conversations.
Also on the web
A Whop business can use the website dashboard too. In Embed and API, under Team, add your email (and your teammates'). Then sign in at /login with a one-time email link. Everything (persona, knowledge, branding, keys) is the same business in both places.
Admins chatting from the member view
When you open the chat yourself as an admin, it's saved as a test and doesn't count toward your monthly replies.
